ID Synopsis: Film Robinson Crusoe atau yang berjudul "The Wild Life" merupakan film animasi 3D barat terbaru. Film Robinson Crusoe 2016 ini bercerita tentang pengembara atau petualang muda yang bernama Robinson Crusoe (pengisi suara Matthias Schweighöfer). Suatu ketika Robinson dan para kru di terjang oleh badai besar saat berlayar dan terdampar di pulau kecil ditengah laut di Pasifik Selatan.
Akhirnya tinggallah Robinson Crusoe dan anjingnya yang tersisa dari ganasnya terjangan badai tersebut, Mengetahui hal tersebut kemudian Robinson bertemu Seekor burung Beo Tropis dan semua binatang penghuni tersebut.
Akhirnya selang beberapa waktu Robinson Crusoe dan para binatang mulai bersahabat, dan mereka semua juga baik dengan Cruso. Akan tetapi suasanya damai dan tenang di pulau tersebut menjadi tegang dan mencekam, ketika ada segerombolan kucing jahat yang merupakan peliharaan dari perampok jahat. Para kucing tersebut berniat untuk menguasai pulau tersebut.
Melihat kedamaian pulaunya terusik Robinson Crusoe dan para hewan lainnya mulai menyusun rencana dan bertarung malewan para kucing jahat tersebut. Yang akhirnya bisa mengeluarkan kucing kucing jahat tersebut dari pulau yang sekarang di huni oleh Robinson Crusoe. Itulah sinopsis Robinson Crusoe.

EN Plot: On a tiny isolated South Pacific Island, Mak, a macaw and his friends live the perfect life. Blue skies, beautiful turquoise water, and lots of delicious fruit and crunchy insects. But every day is the same and Mak is really bored. Convinced there is more than just water over the horizon, he dreams of leaving his little paradise and exploring the world. Then one day, after a violent tropical storm, they wake up to find a huge ship broken up on the beach.
Two strange creatures emerge from the bowels of the shipwreck: Robinson Crusoe and his dog, Aynsley. Unbeknownst to everyone, two ferocious cats have also survived the storm. They are determined to take control of the island and make the human pay for the years of bad treatment they had to endure as ratters in the darkness of the ship’s hull.
Slowly but surely the islanders drop their guards and welcome the newcomers to their island. Until one day, the cats with multiple litters of youngsters decide to put an end to it all and wreak havoc on their little piece of Eden.
